Monday gives us two useful questions: can Kyren Williams’ rushing workload justify the number against Buffalo, and is Vegas–Minnesota’s total worth an under review once the goalies are confirmed? Neither answer comes from simply liking a player or spotting a strong early record.

Bills–Rams: Kyren Williams rushing-yard review
The NFL’s official Monday night schedule has Buffalo at Los Angeles at 8:15 p.m. Eastern.
Review ceiling: Williams over 69.5 rushing yards at -115 or better, after final availability and market checks. That is a filter for further research, not proof of value. Over 69.5 requires at least 70 rushing yards. A higher target or a worse price needs a new assessment.
BetMGM’s October 11 player-prop preview, observed at noon today, labels Williams over 69.5 (-115) and under 69.5 (-115). Its other written review is James Cook over 73.5 (-115). Those are dated publisher quotes, not verified current account prices. We are reviewing Williams separately rather than copying the author’s two-pick card.
The Rams’ official Williams statistics show 294 rushing yards on 54 carries across his first four games. His October entry is one game: 16 carries for 80 yards. That makes a workload check worthwhile, but a four-game total and one recent result do not establish tonight’s chance of reaching 70.
Buffalo’s official final injury report rules defensive lineman Ed Oliver and receiver Joshua Palmer out. DJ Moore, Dee Alford and Landon Jackson are questionable. Oliver’s absence matters to the defensive lineup; it does not automatically turn Williams into a winner. Buffalo’s receiver availability can also change how the game unfolds.
The Rams’ official final report has Aaron Donald, Colby Parkinson and Jaylen Watson ready to go, with Quentin Lake questionable. Final inactive lists and any last-minute workload news still deserve a check.
Why it could lose: fewer carries, a pass-heavy game, shared backfield work, negative rushing plays or an injury. Receiving yards do not help a rushing-only prop. At -115, the break-even win rate is about 53.5%; we have not established that probability. Pass if the offer has moved above 69.5, the price is worse than -115, or the exact rules remain unclear.
Today’s NHL slate and goalie checks
The official NHL schedule lists these three games. All times are Eastern. None of these six teams appears on the October 11 slate, so none is on the second night of a back-to-back.
| Game | Time | Goalie check |
|---|---|---|
| Florida at Buffalo | 1 p.m. | Markstrom confirmed by RotoWire; Ellis expected |
| Ottawa at New Jersey | 7 p.m. | Ullmark expected; Daws confirmed by RotoWire |
| Vegas at Minnesota | 8 p.m. | Hart and Wallstedt expected |
Labels come from RotoWire’s lineup page, a secondary service. We have not independently obtained team confirmation. “Expected” remains a projection. Florida–Buffalo is schedule context here, not a pregame pick; do not use the listing as one after puck drop.
Vegas–Minnesota: under 6 price check
Review ceiling: under 6 at -110 or better, with both starters and final lineups checked first. Keep the number at 6; under 5.5 gives away the possible push at six goals under ordinary total rules. These are research filters, not a verified edge.
BetMGM’s Vegas editorial page displayed Vegas -105 / Minnesota -115; Vegas +1.5 (-250) / Minnesota -1.5 (+200); and over 6 (-110) / under 6 (-110). Use the NHL’s 8 p.m. EDT start rather than the page’s EST label. Those published references may differ from the price in your account.
The official NHL matchup feed lists Minnesota at 3–1–1, with a team goals-against average of 1.80 through five games. Jesper Wallstedt has a .936 save percentage and 1.78 goals-against average in five appearances. Vegas is 5–1–0; Carter Hart has a .910 save percentage and 2.25 goals-against average in four appearances.
That early goalie form gives us a reason to inspect the under, but it does not predict the final score. Save percentage is the share of shots stopped; goals-against average measures goals allowed per 60 minutes. Four or five appearances remain a small sample, and the opponent’s attack matters too.
RotoWire lists Vegas defenseman Alex Pietrangelo on long-term injured reserve and Minnesota defenseman Zach Bogosian day-to-day. Defensive availability can weaken a goalie-led argument. Recheck both projected starters and the actual lineup.
Why it could lose: penalties, early goals, empty-net scoring, a starter change or overtime. Under 6 usually wins below six and pushes at exactly six, subject to the offer’s rules. At -110, the break-even rate is about 52.4% of decided bets, excluding pushes. We have not shown that the matchup clears it. Pass at 5.5, at a worse price than -110, or with unresolved goalie news.
What to monitor elsewhere
Ottawa–New Jersey: wait on Ullmark. RotoWire lists Jake Sanderson day-to-day. Florida–Buffalo: the service lists Brad Marchand out and Aleksander Barkov on long-term injured reserve. No verified current account quote for either game or a relevant NHL player prop means no extra selection here.
The official MLB feed has Dodgers–Brewers at 5 p.m. Eastern and Cleveland–Tampa Bay at 8 p.m. It lists Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Logan Henderson as probable starters for the first game, and Drew Rasmussen for Tampa Bay. Confirm the final pitchers, lineups and bullpen availability before considering prices. We do not have a verified noon account offer to support a baseball pick.
The ESPN NBA feed includes Oklahoma City–Atlanta and Brooklyn–Washington at 7 p.m., Minnesota–New York at 7:30 p.m., and San Antonio–Utah at 9 p.m. These are preseason games. Check rotation and minutes plans before props; familiar names do not guarantee regular-season workloads.
Keep the market and the idea aligned
The Vegas–Minnesota review is for a full-game total including overtime and shootout settlement. It is not regulation only. MGM Springfield’s March 12, 2026 rules, printed pages 58–59, include overtime in pregame hockey moneylines, puck lines and totals unless marked Regular Time; shootouts add one goal to the winning side and total. Those venue rules do not verify an Ontario account’s terms.
For Williams, verify full-game rushing yards, overtime treatment, participation requirements and injury/void terms on the actual offer. Because the exact local offers remain unverified, both reviews stay watchlist items. Do not combine them merely to make the payout larger.
